Japan EOS Promotion Program Needs Needs –In order to deal with global environmental problems appropriately such as global warming or climate change and predict the future image of them, it is necessary to understand earth system better through collecting data systematically by comprehensive global observation. Object and scope Object and scope –Necessary R&D for structuring the new global observation systems and realizing or operationalizing them. –Observational study not only to develop new observation systems but also get new social benefit. –Contributing to GEOSS accompanied by returning benefit to Japan nation.
