The Holy Spirit Guides Our Special Leaders

The Apostles Jesus put his church in the care of the apostles with Peter as their head. They were the leaders of the early church and since then the church has always had special leaders.

Pope Benedict He is the 265 th Pope since the time of Jesus (St Peter was the first). He was elected to be Pope in April 2005 after the death of Pope John Paul II. As Pope his task is to defend our faith, teach us about our faith and help guide us to heaven. He lives and works in the Vatican in Rome, Italy.
