Islamic Republic of Pakistan

General Information British India separates into Pakistan (East and West), and Hindu India War resulted in East Pakistan seceding and becoming the nation we now know as Bangladesh. Pakistan conducted Nuclear Weapons Tests in 1998.

Location: Absolute: 30 * North Latitude, 70* East Longitude Relative: Between India on the East, and Iran and Afghanistan on the West. South of China.

Place:  Area Comparative: Just smaller than 2X the size of California.  Climate: mostly hot, dry desert. Temperate in the Northwest, Arctic in the North.  Terrain: Flat Indus Plain in the East. Mountains in the North and Northwest. Balochistan Plateau in West.
