 Most recruiters and hiring managers will eventually want to know how much you know about the company and the position for which you have applied.  Conducting background research will help demonstrate this knowledge and it will also indicate how seriously you want the job.

 NETWORKING is still the preferred method of connecting to employers. Use for Professional networking with employers: Use for social networking with friends: (user beware—you’re future boss may be watching!) Networking events, gatherings, mixers, meetings are also very good opportunities
