ACES ACTIVITIES 9:15-9:55 Two Truths and a Lie - On your index card, write 2 truths about yourself and 1 lie. The lie must be something that is believable in light of the truths you list. Take turns in your groups reading your 3 statements. Group members will guess which one is the lie. Feel free to give details about the 2 truths. - Mrs. Gaffney: 1. ACES ACTIVITIES 9:15-9:55 Ball Talk Students will stand in a circle around the room. Mrs. G will start off by throwing the soccer ball to a student. The student will catch the ball using both hands. They will then introduce themselves to the class, and answer the question that their right thumb is touching. After answering the question, that player then throws the ball to another person.

ACES ACTIVITIES 12:20-12:30 Silent Ball How to Play: Silent ball is a game of catch. You must toss the ball to your classmates, systematically trying to get each other out until there are only 2 left. These are the winners. Rules: 1) No talking or whispering. Laughing counts as talking. 2) No throwing the ball back to the same person who threw it to you. 3) No throwing the ball with unnecessary roughness or so that it is impossible to catch. 4) No dropping the ball. 5) No making it impossible for someone to throw to you, either by avoiding eye contact at all times or other means. 6) Mrs. G is the referee, if you argue you are out!!
