School Safety Nets and Course Recovery, too. Back to

Make-Up Work For everyday a student is absent, they will have a day to make-up their work. It is a day for a day. For example, if you are absent two days you have two days to makeup your work.

How do you get it? It is the student’s responsibility to get their work. Please ask your teacher for your work. Be patient, wait until the end of class, and make sure you understand the directions. Turn it in when it’s expected. If you have any questions, ask your teacher!

COURSE RECOVERY When a student receives a D or F as a final grade in a course they may retake the course and replace the grade in the annual GPA and credit calculation following state forgiveness criteria. A middle school student receiving a final grade of C, D or F in a high school course may retake the course and replace the grade in the GPA and credit calculation following state forgiveness criteria..

Your life, your grade Take Charge! You are responsible to monitor your work and progress. You will receive a progress report from your teacher at least once a nine weeks. A Make an A each day! It is NEVER too early to ask your teacher to help you. We want you to learn. If you did not do well on an assignment, ask your teacher if you may repeat it so that you may master the skill. The goal is for you to be great. This must be done immediately after you receive your assignment back.
