SUPPLY LIST TI-30 XIIS Calculator Binder or Notebook/Folder Pencils Loose-leaf paper 3rd NINE WEEKS GRADING POLICY STPSB grade scale 60% Tests, Quizzes, Projects 10% Homework, WebAssign 30% Daily Work Late work – 10% deduction per day MAKE UPS Only with an EXCUSED absence Make ups must be completed within ONE week of the absence. This includes homework, daily work, tests, and quizzes. Make up tests must be taken after school. Make up work is YOUR responsibility. ALGEBRA III Mrs. Michelle Mecom Room 203 CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS Be PROMPT. Be on time, enter the classroom quietly, and check the board for instructions. Be PREPARED. Bring all materials and necessary work. Be POLITE. Be nice or neutral to everyone. Respect yourself, your classmates, your teacher and your classroom. Keep your hands, feet and objects to yourself. If you don’t own it, don’t write, draw or carve on it. Be PATIENT. Wait respectfully and calmly for your turn. Spring 2018 RETAKING ASSESSMENTS Students may retake a test a maximum of 2 times given the following conditions: Take initial assessment on assigned date Raw Score at least 40% No more than 2 absences during testing period All assignments completed on time Must be completed within ONE week of the initial assessment EXTRAS WebAssign Moodle Mrs. Mecom’s website: JPAMS – Please monitor your grades. TUTORING Mornings: Tuesday – Friday from 7:00 – 7:20 After school until 3:15
