Recourses Some resources are oil, automobiles, emeralds/diamonds and some ores and natural gas It also has a bit of cattle, wheat, sugar cane and coffee

Government The country is democratic and the president has a 6 year term. And has an unlimited number of terms There are legislators and a judicial court so it is much like our own

Population and demographics million people live in Venezuela 90% of Venezuelans live in an urban area There are 60% Mestizos, 30% Europeans. Some Africans and indigenous Venezuelans remain

Current events Heavy flooding and mud slides recently occurred in Venezuela. 21 causalities occurred and 32,000 were displaced from there homes The president has allowed 20 families to live in his palace, which is an example of how Venezuela's government is like our and not autocratic.

Cultural influences Venezuela culture has been heavily influenced by the Caribbean. Venezuelan culture has also been influenced by indigenous Spanish and African influences. A lot of the art in Venezuela was religious, and now it has been taken over by these modern times.

Geography The absolute location of this country is eight degrees north and 65 degrees west. This country is bordered by Guyana, Colombia, and Brazil. Angel Falls, located in the country, is the tallest waterfall in the world. One of the large mountain ranges in South America is the Guiana Highlands which is located in Guyana, Venezuela, Suriname
