Assumption College Lampang Mr. Teerapat Sutjaluk Mr.Tanachit Sangchan “BIODIESEL FOR COOLER ATMOSPHERE”

BIODIESEL FOR A COOLER ATMOSPHERE Tokyo Yuden uses oil from restaurants and homes to produce Vegetable Diesel Fuel (VDF), which reduces CO2 by 2.62 kg per liter. Summary Point

Reason 1.The use of VDF reduces the use of fossil fuels. 2.The use of VDF provides full combustion so cars reduce CO2 emissions. 3.It prevents unnecessary waste from going into the dumpster.

Example 1.The usage of VDF 2.The Reborn bus that the camp uses in transporting students to fieldtrips uses VDF 3.There are 110 collecting stations in Tokyo and the interest in VDF is expanding.

Actions back home Individual : We will share this idea to our friends and also encourage other to utilize VDF School : 1.We plan to collect waste cooking oil from each shop in our canteen in school. 2. we will propose a Science Project on VDF Community :Back in Lampang, we will try to promote the usage of VDF more because if more people use it, we will have halve the carbon dioxide emission

Once again “We are committed to begin a new lifestyle to create renewable energy for a Sustainable Future”
