Relevance and value addition of local HFA level review proess The results can be used for local development plan Enhance the local authority’s awareness If shared with national, it can be integrated into national development plan/inputs for national priorities Strengthen decentralization governance and The process can be used as a venue to establish multi-stakeholder forum/local platform

Possible mechanisms for implementing local level DRR review process National government/national platform can provide support for the socialization on HFA The benefits for undertaking the review at local level must be communicated well – with example from national level National government/national platform to encourage local government/local partners for undertaking the review

Possible support mechanism for local level review Build on the existing mechanism (national to local) DM Focal point at national level/ministry to provide the support to the local level National Platform/DM government institution to provide training and guidelines to the local level Use local resources (e.g., local level civil society organization, NGOs, university/academic institution, etc) to support local government
