 After talking with fellow employees I have found that:  They get little to no exercise.  They are not educated on proper nutrition.  Currently we have no wellness program. A wellness program can help ensure healthiness all around.

 Implementing an exercise and nutrition program can help our employees:  Become more active  Learn how to eat better  Reduce risks such as cardiovascular disease

 Regular physical activity can reduce:  Feelings of depression  Risk of Cardiovascular disease such as high blood pressure, cholesterol, stroke, and type 2 diabetes.  Obesity (especially when combined with diet)

 A healthy diet and good nutrition can:  Promote weight management  Reduce the risk of obesity  Reduce the risk of developing high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or type 2 diabetes.  Reduce cholesterol or blood pressure in those who already have high cholesterol or high blood pressure.

 Mission: To lower health risks of our employees and improve employee satisfaction.  Goal: To get more employees to become physically active and maintain a better diet.  Objective: Provide our employee’s with a software that will help them and encourage them to track their food and exercise.

 Product Description:  Fitness Tracking application  Uses GPS to track all fitness activities  Records workout details: duration, distance, pace, speed, elevation, calories burned, and route traveled.  Can track food (Gives calories and nutrition details)  Find a group: can share fitness journey with friends and close workout buddies.

 This can help solve our problem because employees will be able to see their improvement they are making through this app.  They can also work together since the app allows you to form groups to share routes, provide training plans, organize events, and measure progress.  This will help motivate them to continue their use of this app and their healthy lifestyle.

 With the help of this app, our employees can adapt a better, more healthy lifestyle.  Employees will be healthier  This will increase productivity!
