3 Why? O Wellness programs will help employees stay or become healthier. O When a person in healthier, a person is more likely to be happy. O When a person is happy it rubs off on others. O A happy workplace=a successful workplace

5 Heart Disease O People are not getting the cardiovascular fitness that they should be getting. O By 2020 heart disease will be the leading cause of death throughout the world. O This year 920,000 people will suffer a heart attack. O 250,000 people die annually of Sudden Cardiac Death.

6 Obesity O More than 1 in 3 adults are considered obese. O 1 in 20 adults are considered to have extreme obesity. O 2 in 3 adults are considered to be overweight or obese.
