WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF PRINTABLES HOLT?  The idea of this website is to have graphic organizers to brainstorm, organize and visualize your ideas.  They are all a PDF, so that the student or teacher can download and print them!  Every organizer also comes with “Teaching Notes” that helps give ideas for lessons and how to use the organizer.

DO YOU HAVE TO PAY/SIGN UP?  No! All the organizers (along with “Teaching Notes”) is free to download and use.  This website is also sign-up free, so no or password is required.

HOW TO USE IT IN THE CLASSROOM?  How can teachers use it?  Teachers can use these organizers for any lesson being taught. (Brainstorming before an essay, assessment prior to new information, gathering information on science experiments, timelines for history, character analysis, etc.).  It can be given out before or after a lesson to make sure students are on track and understanding the information.  Lesson plans that are given can guide teachers/show how to use the organizers correctly.  How can students use it?  Students can use this on their own time to get their ideas out before an essay or assignment.  Students who like to keep organized will enjoy these so that their thoughts are kept in a neat way.  Preparation for tests/projects.
