2 This is what your dashboard looks like in MobyMax (with the exception of the “my school” tab on the top blue bar). To access information about any subject area, simply click on it to get started.

3 You will be guided through the Math module for MobyMax
You will be guided through the Math module for MobyMax. All of the subject areas have the same setup for finding information. Blue box is over student names for privacy The snapshot screen under each subject area shows you how much time each student spent in that subject as well as practice scores and the topic currently being studied. If you click on an individual student’s name, the following screen will appear.

4 This view of student data shows overall statistics, grade level progress, and scores for previous sessions. After one month of use, this screen will also show grade level increases and overall progress. Notice that the top bar has all of the subject areas and some cool stuff that you can access all from this screen. These pages are always printable for your records. Next I am going to close this pop up window and click on the Progress tab.

5 As our students complete more lessons in MobyMax, their progress statistics will show up here. It is useful to us now to see their beginning grade level as calculated by the placement test (Kindergarten teachers, your students did not take a placement test). The learning velocity is calculated based on how students are mastering the lessons they have been assigned. Now I will click on an individual student name.

6 Here you can see this student’s progress over time
Here you can see this student’s progress over time. To learn what standards a student missed, click on the blue grade level under “progress by grade levels.” This will bring up a pop up window that shows accuracy percentages for each standard assessed.

7 On the placement screen you can see each student’s calculated grade level. To find out which standards any student got right or wrong, click on the blue result to be brought to the screen that breaks down each standard. Next on to Math Lessons

8 The first tab under lessons is “completed lessons
The first tab under lessons is “completed lessons.” Here you can see the last 5 scores your students received as well as which lesson each student is currently working on. The next 3 tabs allow you to assign lessons, change their sequence, and see a better class view.

9 To assign specific lessons to a student, click on the grade level to bring up all of the lessons available. Here you can see each standard. Simply check the box next to the standard you wish to assign a lesson for. On the next screen you can adjust the sequence.

10 To change the order of the lessons you simply grab the
Symbol and drag up or down. The last section here is the IEP tab.

11 To set a goal for an individual student, click on “set goals” then click on the grade level where the goal is located.

12 Here you just click on the checkbox next to the standard
Here you just click on the checkbox next to the standard. As your student progresses through the program, you can click on “see report” for progress updates. Remember you can check out any subject area. The Math and Language sections will hold the most information for you. Now I will click on the home screen and go to the Math tab on the bottom of the screen.

13 Here you can see “at a glance” statistics for each subject area
Here you can see “at a glance” statistics for each subject area. After our students have been using MobyMax for over a month the other statistics will appear here as well.

14 The next section I would like to show you is “Worksheets”

15 You have your choice here of Math, Language, and Reading worksheets
You have your choice here of Math, Language, and Reading worksheets. Click on a grade level to see the available worksheets. For this demonstration I will click on 2nd grade math.

16 Click the checkbox next to the standard that you would like to print a worksheet for then click “Print Worksheets.” You will have several choices to make such as Include answer key, number of problems per page, and which specific skill you would like. The click print or click “Create PDF” to preview it.

17 These are the most important components of MobyMax for the classroom teacher. You are free to check out the other features. They are easy to use and implement with your students. If at any time while you are working in MobyMax you forget what to do, there is always a little question mark or Help tab on the top of the page that can provide immediate answers to your questions. I will be creating a video and in person training to meet everyone’s needs. You may disregard other notices about training if this is sufficient for your needs. Thank you for taking the time to look through this and taking the time to learn a new technology for your students!
