In the spring of 2014 a group of k-5th grade teachers met to develop new pacing materials for the school year.
It was agreed that changes needed to be made not only to the pacing guide, but to the curriculum map as well to better support teachers and students

5. Math Pacing Guide Suggested time frame for each unit
Thoughtful placement of units to promote scaffolding of mathematical skills
Suggested time for assessing students when they are most ‘tooled up’ for proficiency in a standard
Notes section to give helpful information for lesson preparation and instruction.
