 Recap from yesterday??

 Today, we are going to work on introduction and conclusion.

 Grab the reader’s attention.  Make sure the person is in your shoes. They should experience what you experienced or feel what you felt.

 Start your paper with putting your reader in the situation.  The Situation:  A) A topic sentence to introduce the events leading up to the event, the actual event, and the events that came after.

 The final conclusion should be a reflection of the situation.  Explain how the overall theme of the picture has affected your life. How are you a better person because of what happened in the picture? Why is this picture important to you?  Explain what the final theme is with a strong final statement.

 Please work on your introduction and conclusion for the rest of class.  If you need help, I am here!

 You will have time to finish your graphic organizers.  We will discuss Shakespeare’s sonnets.
