The Spider – a brokerage service for learning resources in Sweden The Swedish National Agency for School Improvement (The Swedish Agency for Education) Christina Szekely, Director of Education

ICT in Swedish schools and the task for our Agency The Agency has the overall commission to support ICT development in schools. Our role is to promote the use of ICT in education, mainly by supporting the municipalities in their task.

ICT in Swedish schools and the task for our Agency In our work we focus on: the new school portal “ICT for teachers” tools for in-service training for teachers giving schools access to digital learning resources the national infrastructure and standards for exchanging and storing information related to education safer use of Internet and new media cooperation with other national and international actors
