FGM CAMEROON FRIENDS DIASPORA (FGMC-FD) BRIEF INTRODUCTION OF THE VISION DR. GILBERT EYABI

CONCERN Brethren from FGM Cameroon come to the USA at an increasing rate and many fall between the cracks because there is no network to welcome them to the USA and help them settle in. The creation of this association aims at making this history. Here are the proposed goals and purpose of the association subject to amendments by the General Meeting of Members (GMM) at its creation.

PURPOSE AND GOAL FGMC-FD shall be a recognized 501C3 ministry in the USA with the following goals and purpose: GOAL 1: Unite FGM brethren and friends in the Diaspora (starting in the USA) for the purpose of encouraging each other in the Lord and maintaining the zeal and passion for the Lord planted in us while back with FGM Cameroon. This will be done through :

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 1 Continues Serving as a network that would locate FGM brethren in the USA, especially those who come in the country newly, and directing them to brethren and churches recognized by FGMC-FD. Organizing conventions/retreats on a regular basis, in collaboration with USFGM/Associate Assemblies, which would serve as revival times for the members of the association.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 1 Continues Disseminating news of weddings and other public occasions organized by members of FGMC-FD and using these as avenues for fellowship, encouragement and exhorting each other. FGMC-FD would endeavor to be markedly present in these occasions by sending approved representatives on behalf of the association.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 1 Continues Help new comers in the USA who decide to be part of FGMCFA settle financial by asking each member to donate $5.00 to be delivered to each new comer (This amount is subject to approval by a set committee to deliberate on these goals)

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 1 Continues In the event a member is in dire need of financial assistance, FGMC-FD would serve as an arm to help raise funds to meet the need. The disclaimer here is that funds will be raised through generous donations for such cases, except otherwise stated, and there is no guarantee as to how much could be raised in any given event. Every member is encouraged to have life and health insurance.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 2 Continues Locate and encourage the planting of USFGM churches and FGM affiliated/associate churches in the USA. An FGM affiliated church in the USA is a church that is not a USFGM church but has identified itself as willing to work in close collaboration with USFGM churches, FGMC and the pastor is willing to become a member of the Ministers Fellowship of USFGM/Associate Assemblies. These FGM affiliated churches shall sign a memorandum of collaboration, if necessary, to define its relationship with the USFGM churches or FGMC. FGMC-FD shall support these affiliated churches as it does all other USFGM churches. FGMC-FD does not pledge to take full responsibility for the planting of USFGM churches and FGM affiliated churches but will be willing to locate and direct resources within its control.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 3 FGMC-FD, in collaboration with FGM Cameroon or other reliable persons, would locate real needs in the church back in Cameroon and try to meet these needs or a part of it through financial assistance via the office of the superintendent or directly. Such finances would come from yearly membership dues or other donations within the group.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 4 - Missions FGMC-FD would also work towards creating partnership with mission minded churches and associations based in the USA with the goal of getting them to allocate funds towards helping the church in Cameroon and/or visiting FGM Cameroon for mission work. As a group, we shall also plan church planting mission trips to Cameroon and either work with the directorate of FGMC Home missions or with interested churches.

PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 5 - Training FGMC-FD would also be involved in helping to train ministers of the Word in Cameroon by sponsoring students in various FGM Bible schools in Cameroon.

In collaboration with the pastors of USFGM and Associate Assemblies, FGMC-FD will support the creation of an arm to serve as a ministerial fellowship to carter for the needs of church planters and various church plantings around the country. PURPOSE AND GOAL GOAL 6 – Ministers Fellowship
