SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

What is a Scholarship? Money that is given to an individual to help them achieve something You don’t have to pay the money back A great way to fund your education Each scholarship has criteria set by the funder The funder is the person or organisation giving away the money (eg. universities, trusts, government departments…)

Who can apply for scholarships? Anyone! Criteria could be based on anything Carefully read the criteria to make sure you are eligible before you apply You can apply for more than one scholarship

Created and maintained by the Funding Information Service Online database of over 3700 scholarships and grants for individuals Wide range of schemes, e.g. for tertiary studies, sports, arts, personal and professional development Contains contact details of the funders and link to application forms 8-10 new schemes added to BreakOut per week!
