Recommendations/Actions 1.The purpose of the Branch needs to be restated BSR Report to BOM – Sept 2010 Implementation plan presented at Branch Conference – Nov 2010 Workshop sessions at Branch Conference – Nov 2010 Publish on web new Branch Handbook – Feb 2011 Branch Training sessions – Mar 2011 CIPS Update/Branch Mailings -Mar 2010

Recommendations/Actions 2. To recognise the strong ‘ push ’ from members for (CPD)  Amanda O ’ Brien to scope out CPD Project and present to Branch Conference – Nov 2010  Target roll out date late 2011

Recommendations/Actions 3.A need for a ‘ Branch Champion ’ within Easton House The Head of Membership has been identified as the ‘ Branch Champion ’ MY will communicate BSR progress to CEO/BOM/COUNCIL 4.Branches should be seen to be a primary channel for member engagement at a local level. In scope of Membership Strategy – March 2011 Welcome communication – March 2011 Scope out website interface -Jan 2011

Recommendations/Actions 5.The existing resources at Easton are not seen as sufficient to service the future needs of the Branch network In scope of Membership Strategy 1 x Admin Assistant – Stretch target achieved post will be confirmed UK Membership Officer out of the office 3 days per week 6.A number of ‘ easy to use ’ support and analytical tools should be developed by Easton Self Evaluation Tool - Mar 2011 Branch Action Plan – Mar 2010

Recommendations/Actions 7.Branches should assess their performance annually against mutually agreed objectives KPI ’ s set and agreed by each Branch – May 2011 Branch budget funding will reflect delivery against these KPI ’ s – Sept Communication channel between Council, Branches and members needs to be re-inforced Workshops held at Council – Oct 2010
