Coca-Cola “Hello Happiness” Fatma karmustaji

Emotions Used in the advertisement Happiness, Warmth, Love Sociality, Health, Safety Family, Care, Concern Sympathy, Kindness, Humanity Persuasion Emotions Fatma karmustaji

Persuasion techniquesHow it is usedWhy it is used Appeal to emotionsHello Happiness Phone Booth – every time a labor drinks coca cola he will feel happy, warm and grateful because it will be the best way to contact his family and beloved ones It was created specially to spread happiness between the laborers and their families Appeal to benefitsfree 3-minute international phone call. Helping them connect with their families back home more often. Language of Divisionlaborers in the UAEThe population of laborers in UAE are huge Appeal to Numbers/statistics“Every day, Thousands of South Asian Laborers Arrive to Dubai to work for a better future” “ With an average income of $6 per day, they have to pay up to $0.91/min to call home” To give the laborers more few extra minutes of happiness, turning Coca-Cola bottle caps into currency. “Because Happiness is a Coca-Cola and a phone Call Home”  The Ad delivered the effectiveness very will by describing the statistics and by showing how the laborers really feel and by interviewing them  The description its self has a huge meaning – it spreads the happiness before even knowing the ad is what about  The laborers will gain a huge benefit from the Hello Happiness machine  Laborers will find their families by drinking Coca-Cola Fatma karmustaji

Coca-Cola "Big Game" Commercial Fatima Thani

 It used emotions technique and technology.  The ad based on the people emotions, then suddenly the Coca Cola spilled into the Internet trolls and people emotions started to change to the best.  They choose these techniques because there is a strong relationship between the emotion changed and technology. Fatima Thani

 In my perspective, This advertisement was highly and completely effective because it affect me. As I am a human, I think emotional scenes affect people directly because they are emotional. The way it showed how the coca cola spread through the devices (technology) and changed people's mood from sadness to happiness was gorgeous and cleaver because there is a strong relationship between the human and technology. For example, when the girl was typing "I hate you“, the coca cola fill on the devices and suddenly her mood was changed to the best. Actually, choosing a place online is a good idea because the majority of people nowadays spend most of their time online. As the technology has become one of a living source like the food and water, they used technology to persuade people to drink coca cola to become happy as their message states. Fatima Thani

 pathos and internet techniques.  internet connection on their mobile phones.

 Appeal to benefits is a perfect persuasive technique
