Our Program Philosophy Each child has the ability to learn and attain success Children learn best when they are actively engaged and allowed time to make discoveries Children achieve their full potential in a safe nurturing environment with teachers who are responsive to their needs We recognize that children have varying interests, abilities, needs and learning styles We believe it is important to build strong relationships with families We recognize the cultural diversity of our curriculum and seek to deliver a curriculum that caters for the cultural differences of our families

The Curriculum The Creative Curriculum is used at T.O.P Academy. This curriculum highlights the important balance between applying a general knowledge of child development with knowledge the teacher gains by forming a relationship with each child and family. Dania Demographics City Center The City of Dania Beach is smaller than its neighbor cities of Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale both in land area and population. It is 8.1 square miles with a 2013 population of 30,183 while Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale have land areas of 30 and 38 square miles and populations of 145,000 and 170,000 respectively. Population In Dania, the population is 762,626. In 2000, the Census count in Dania was 730,686. The rate of change since 2000 was 0.42% yearly. The five-year projection for the population is 756,416, a change of -0.16% annually from 2010 to Currently, the population is 48.6% male and 51.4% female.
