Demonstrates some sense of choreography, but dance doesn’t quite grow and fails to compliment music and theme. Demonstrates good choreography skills. Shows interesting formations and patterns and flows with the music. Demonstrates excellent creativity. Shows interesting formations and patterns and presents a story within the piece. Technical Skill Fails to include any dance technique. Veers completely away from assignment. Performance Skills The dancers are not very focused, concentrated or committed to performance. The dancers are generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate with others on stage or audience. The dancers perform with good energy and effort and communicate with each other and the audience through eye contact, facial and body expression. The dancers create believable characters on stage and are able to engage the audience completely through their performance. They perform with excellent energy and effort. Stimulus Choreographer did not create a dance based on Stimulus. Choreographer uses some elements of the stimuli, but does not stay focused on the theme.
