Alvin and the Chipmunks 1. The subject of the poster is the movie Alvin & the Chipmunks. The purpose is to advertise the movie that was coming to theaters. 2. The marketing strategies in this poster are targeted towards younger kids and adults alike. The graphics are very good and the colors are vibrant. The poster as a whole is attractive to look at and draws attention. Also, the chipmunks are dressed like current day teenagers, and this appeals to a younger crowd. 3. The artist worked with the graphic artist to create the chipmunks. Then he/she created a attractive design for the poster and a catchy but simply slogan. He then made sure to advertise the name of the movie and the release date.

Elvis Presley Poster 1. The subject of this poster is Elvis Presley and his concert. The purpose is the advertise to concert so that lots of tickets are sold. 2. The marketing strategies in this poster are seen through both the graphics and the words. Words such as “starring” make the show sound more interesting and appealing. In addition, the creater highlights that important name of Elvis by putting it in large red font. Also the graphic of Elvis on the guitar draws attention to the poster. 3. The artist had to first gather all the information he needed about the concert. Following that he created an attractive layout including the design of a picture of Elvis.

The marketing strategies include both text and graphics. The large shark in background draws attention and interest. Also the creator puts another famous movie they have done in the past. This may help people who read it identify with other movies they liked. 3. The artist had to work with graphic design to create the graphic for this poster. He also came up with cleaver ways to say the movie date by saying sea instead of see. The artist created an attractive layout that appeals to young and old alike.

The Purpose is to not only advertise the musical when it is playing, but also advertise it as a musical in general so directors will want to perform it. 2. The marketing strategies in this poster are numerous. The contrasting colors are what makes this poster very attractive. Also, the title Wicked is white against a black background creating great contrast. 3. The artist behind this had to know the musical in general in order to create the appropriate graphic. The artist probably worked with the play writer to ensure the graphic was a good representation of the show.

The marketing strategies include a good graphic with good contrast in colors. It also has a good slogan underneath the logo. 3. The artist in this case wanted a logo that would catch people’s attention and to create good contrast with the black background. He also wanted it to create a sense of anticipation to a scary movie by seeing the poster.
