Animation & Transitions Backgrounds Use your mouse to select a heading.

3 Purpose Make sure you are clear about what you are trying to present.
Why are you making this presentation? What will the viewer have learnt from seeing your presentation?

4 Audience Who is your presentation aimed at? Adults Teenagers
Young Children etc. This is called the Target Audience

5 Fonts Only use two Fonts maximum in your presentations.
Use a Sans Serif font Try to keep text boxes and headings in the same place on each slide. Keep the font sizes the same throughout your presentation.

6 Pictures Only use pictures that are relevant to the information on the slide. Don’t copy and Paste pictures into the Clip Art Box Would Clip Art be appropriate for an Adult Audience?

7 Content Don’t put too much information on each slide.
Plan what you are going to include in your presentation before you start by drawing up a storyboard.

8 Animation & Transitions
Don’t animate too much Don’t use sound effects with your animations. Stick with one or two animation styles and slide transitions for your whole presentation.

9 Backgrounds There are various different background styles to choose from... Solid Colour Gradients Textures Pictures It can be hard to read type over some picture backgrounds
