Announcements and Reminders: **Our ZOO FIELD TRIP was a huge success!! I would like to say a special “THANK YOU!” to all of the chaperones. This trip would not be possible without you. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to spend with the children. **APRIL 7-11 th is I-LEAP TESTING ** Parents, we thank all of you for your dedication and efforts you share with us during the school year. During the week of April 7th, you are on vacation! We have our I-LEAP testing during this week. We hope you enjoy the week. Also, there will be NO CLUBS this week. **Paws For Cause: Our campaign to collect "Food and Fun for Our Furry Friends" will continue through Friday, April 11th. Your donation of dog and cat food and supplies will benefit the St. Tammany Humane Society and the St. Francis Animal Sanctuary. **GALLERY NIGHT PROJECTS: If you were not able to join us for Gallery Night, you may still send in a donation towards your child's auction item. $5.00 is suggested, but not required. Please send to school in an envelope marked “Gallery Night”. Proceeds help us pay for supplies and a portion will be donated to the St. Tammany Humane Society. Thank you! **Spring Party : Our Spring Party is scheduled for April 17 th. Parents are invited to attend. A sheet was signed at open house to bring in items. If you signed up to bring in an item the room mom, Tara Bremond will contact you shortly. Thanks! **PLASTIC EGGS NEEDED : We are asking that each student send in 12 plastic eggs already stuffed. These will be used for our egg hunt at the Spring Party on Thursday, April 17 th. Eggs may be stuffed with candy or small trinkets. Please, no chocolate, money, or bubble gum. Thank you for your help in advance!! Please send in plastic eggs by Wednesday, April 16 th. KINDERGARTEN PERFORMANCE T-SHIRTS : Each child will wear a class tie-dyed t-shirt. We are asking that each parent send in $3.00 CASH so that we may purchase the t-shirts and paint. Please send CASH ONLY for this project. Please send in money and form with t-shirt size by Thursday, April 17 th. If you would like to send in a little extra to help defray the cost of paint and extra t-shirts, please do. Save the Date : Wednesday, May 7 th will be our end of the year Kindergarten Performance. This year we will have two parent performances. The morning performance is scheduled for 10:00A.M. and the afternoon performance is at 1:30 P.M. We are in need of your expertise! Do you know how to tie-dye shirts…are you creative in stage decorations, or do you just have some time to spare? For the show to be a success, we are in need of a few parents from each teacher’s class to volunteer their time or talent. If you are interested, PLEASE let your child’s teacher know.
