Careers Advice in Year 11 Luisa Andreou-Jones

Careers Interviews For every year 11 pupil. Interviews are usually arranged in morning registration. You are allowed to attend during lesson time. You can request an interview – see Miss Clough. Available to pupils on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I will be available on Year 11 Parents’ Evening.

Why have a Careers Interview? Help you decide what to do and make a plan. Help you consider job / subject options. Check there are no barriers. Help you feel more confident. Know how / when to apply for courses or apprenticeships. Know how to find out more.

How to achieve your career aims? GCSES Achieve the best you can. Be realistic in what you apply for. Attendance Employers, Sixth Forms & Colleges look for good attendance. Apply Early Don’t be at the back of the queue. Experience Get involved in school activities, voluntary work. Have a plan And a back-up plan – just in case!
