M3U2 Healthy Eating

What is health? Health doesn’t only mean to have no disease or weakness, but is also a state of entirely physical, mental, and social well-being. There is nothing more important in life than health. However, in reality, many people forget and even ignore their health condition. When they realise its value, it is too late. There are many ways to keep healthy. It is agreed that the most important is through eating.

It’s OK to eat a little, but too much is not advisable. Junk Food What harm can junk food do to us? Too much fat! It causes people to put on weight and get fat or obese (very fat). Being overweight is a risk to the health of the heart. Too much sugar! That’s what makes them taste so good! But too much sugar makes people fat, rots the teeth, is bad for the blood. Too much salt! People are getting more salt than they need when they eat junk food, which is unhealthy for the heart and may cause cancer. It’s OK to eat a little, but too much is not advisable.

They are not eating properly. They don’t keep a balanced diet. They should attach more attention to their food. They are eating foolishly.

Tip: If we want to be healthy, we should eat a balanced diet which contains three different kinds of foods. They are energy- giving foods, body-building foods and protective foods.
