Vocabulary  indigenous: people native to the land  representation: having someone to speak for you or represent your ideas  Revolution: a sudden and complete change in government or people’s lives

Vocabulary  declaration: official statement  Independence: freedom to rule oneself  constitution: written plan of government  republic: citizens vote for officials

Native Americans Northeast and South tribes: hunted deer and other animals, farmed
