FE Exam Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Examination o First step to be a licensed Professional Engineer o Take the exam your senior year (typically final semester) o Each engineering discipline has a varied list of topics Fancy news: Civils don’t have thermo on the exam o Takes roughly 6 hours and has 110 questions o Exam is taken on the computer Some Awesome Stats o National average passing rate for Civil is 71% o Purdue has a 92% passing rate!!
