NOUN A noun is a word used to name a person, animal, place, thing, or idea. List as many nouns as you can in the picture below. You have ONE minute.
VERB A verb expresses action or a state of being. Example: What verbs could you use when describing a typical school day?
ADJECTIVE An adjective describes a noun or pronoun. (Answers: What kind? Which one? How many?) Examples: What adjectives could you use to describe my clothes?
