Professional Standards Hiring Standards: Staff hired before July 1, 2015 are grandfathered in. Schools under 500: NDDPI CNFD can approve if do not meet criteria. Training: 2015/16: Food Service Directors (FSDs):8 hours, managers 6 hours, other staff 4 hours. Yes, you need an FSD in every school even if you have 4 kids. Later years: FSDs 12 hours, managers 10 hours, other staff 6 hours, office staff > 20 hours per week on food service need 6 hours. Training can go back 3 months this year to April 1. 2 year cycle Training Log is in your handouts, or write us and request one.
