1 How do I get paid?! NEW HIRE TRAINING

2 Make sure you have all employee paperwork complete. Make sure and supply a copy of I 9 documents, voided check and proof of education. You will then be assigned a log in number and password. You will also be assigned log in to website to view paystubs. Your site/area manager will let you know what your log in information is for both.

3 Each school has a computer assigned to be able to clock in/out on and to administer parent collections. https://Ctimeessentials.net The first box is always ADL Second BOX is your log in number Third BOX is your password

4 Clocking in Click on GO Then it will give you the option to clock on – when you click on it, it prompts a question asking if you are sure. Hit yes and then Log out in the top left corner.

5 Clocking IN When you log in it will direct you to the log in page where you will see a calendar in the top right. To the left you will see Who: me What: clock in via web clock From: date To: date and Go

6 CLOCKING OUT Log back in to ctimeessentials. Enter your log in information. Same steps You will choose clock out and then log out

7 Viewing Paystubs Web site is: https://sourceselfservice2.ceridian.com/al phabesthttps://sourceselfservice2.ceridian.com/al phabest You will enter user name and password. It will open to the homepage On the left will be a choose to view earning statements

9 STATE LICENCING TRAINING REQUIREMENTS According to Minimum Licensing Standards every employee is required to receive 15 training hours per calendar year. Minimum standards say that the training topics should include things such as: child growth and development, guidance and discipline, age-appropriate curriculum, safety, children with special needs, cultural diversity, effective communication, and time management. AlphaBEST will provide face to face training two times a year. In August before school begins and in the Spring of the school year. Those training days will be 4 hour training days. AlphaBEST employees who are also employed by ISD’s who receive professional development on topics like the ones outlined above can use the hours they receive from the school district for AlphaBEST training hours too.

10 Kaplan Online Learning Employees must complete and return Registration form. The form is faxed to our Support Center and they register each employee. The Support Center will email log in directions directly to each employee.

12 How to log in 1.Go to www.kaplanco.comwww.kaplanco.com 2.Go to services tab and a drop down menu will show. Choose online learning. 3.You will be directed to a new page – choose online learning log in on the left page. 4.Drop down will appear and you will enter log in and password and will be directed to your professional development page.

13 My Online Learning Registered for Professional Development Courses Current Courses Completed Courses View Transcript

14 What Courses? At the beginning of each month one course will be chosen for all employees to complete during that month. The course names will be emailed out to the site managers.

15 How to be paid As you finish the course, bring the certificate to the site manager for your file. You will view your transcript and may will be asked for your password when you print the certificate. The hour will be added to your time. Limit of 2 training hours per month.
