Getting the Media Message An overview of the project

What Did We Do and How Did We Do It? We had the sixth, seventh, and the eighth grade answer the questions on the surveys. Then we took there information and made pie graphs on specific information that our peers like doing for entertainment.

What Have We Found Out? We have found out that people our age (11-14) have the same interests as us. Ex.- web sites, magazines, movies and music.

What is the purpose of this project? Media and gender Races equally portrayed in media. students get their information and where they get it from. Male and female differences in media.

Were Our Hypotheses The Same As The Outcomes? Differences Boys like action, suspense and horror type movies. While girls like romance and drama type movies. Similarities Both boys and girls have similar interests as in TV shows, magazines, movies, books, and web sites
