3. Web sites Do teens prefer educational web sites verses entertainment and fun web sites? The graph on the next page shows the top 10 web sites for the full survey.

5. Magazines We totaled the number of human images with technology in 16 magazines. We based our studies on human images we found in the magazines. We divided the categories into male and female and also Caucasian and Minority.

7. Which magazines have more Female or Male? There are more Caucasian females in girl oriented magazines. When female images appear fashion is mainly advertised. The total female images in the 16 magazines we analyzed is 1736. There are more Caucasian men in the sport magazines. When male images appear in girl magazines advertising usually includes fashion or cosmetics. The total of the male images in the 16 magazines we analyzed is 1842.

8. Caucasian or Minority? We found that most Caucasian and Minority people in the magazines were advertising fashion, cosmetics, or some sort of sporting good. We also found out that Minority people played a big role in the magazines, but there weren’t a lot of images of them verses the number of Caucasians.

9. Books What type of books do female teens prefer? They prefer the mystical fantasy books and romance novels. What type of books do male teens prefer? They prefer books with adventure, sports related, and action.

12. Books Some teens like to read, while others only read a book that is associated with school. Through the results, we have found that most of the teens who enjoy reading, like mystical fantasy, stories about people’s lives, and fiction books.
