Select settings appropriate for each project Objective Select settings appropriate for each project The key is to determine what is appropriate for each project because there is no one right or wrong way. These slides will be modeling one set of parameters because we think that is the best for this class. Remember there may be good reasons for making other choices in another situation.

Summary of Topics Power Memory Track Logs Settings Each time before going to the field check receiver: unless you have a perfect memory and kept the receive on your person at all times, you can’t be sure that the settings meet the needs of the next assignment. So check battery power, clear as much of the memory as possible, and ensure the parameters for data collection are correct for this assignment.
