ATIC, along with the Career Preparation Center, has developed a program that focuses on the placement of qualified students in an industrial environment. The program, entitled ATIC Student Success in Entrepreneurship Training (ASSET), helps students connect with industry, promotes the pursuit of the student’s entrepreneurial goals. It helps introduce industry to a greater portion of the talented student population on the Polytechnic campus. 12/2/ ASSET

Program Mission This program is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students an industrial entrepreneurship experience that: (a)provides the student direct exposure to real world professional activities, (b)enhances their personal and professional skills, and (c)increases the likelihood of professional employment opportunities. 12/2/2015 3

In addition, students gain experience in: resume development how to prepare for and conduct themselves in a professional interview by company representatives, and are better prepared to enter the workforce. 12/2/2015 4

Things to Know This is NOT an internship.  Students need to work with the CPC and their respective department to arrange for internship credit.  Internship affiliation agreement has to be signed before internship can be approved. Student must be enrolled for at least 1 credit hour at ASU to be eligible. Need to plan and allow time to process hiring paperwork – usually 3 weeks prior to start date. 12/2/2015 7
