Salvador Dali He was born on the 11 th May, 1904 in Catalonia in Spain. He died on the 23 rd January, 1989 at the age 84. His hobbies are painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and writing. He learnt art at the San Fernando School of Fine Arts. His full name is Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech He is famous for his bizarre work.

Joan Miro He was born on the 20 th April,1893 in Barcelona in Spain He died on the 25 th December,1983 aged 90. He painted from his imagination, this type of painting is called Surrealism. His most famous painting was “Harlequins Carnival” He also did sculpture, ceramic and murals.

Pablo Picasso. He was born on the 25 th October 1881 in Malaga in Spain. He died on the 8 th April 1973, aged 91 in Mougins in France. He liked to paint, draw, sculpture, printmaking and ceramics. He learnt art at the Academy of Arts in Madrid. Lots of his paintings have been sold for millions of pounds.
