Pairs: Take turns describing an interesting trip you have taken( for example, a school trip, a weekend away, or a vacation). Use some of the phrasal verbs in exercise 1. Ex: last summer, my family and I went camping. We headed out at six on a Friday morning………..

Listening part 3. pairs: look at the map of the River Thames in London. Discuss these questions. a)which places would you like to visit? b)When you visit a new place, do you like having someone show you around, or do you like to explore on your own? Why?

4. Listen to the conversation between a tourist and a travel agent. Check the places on the map that they mention. 5. Grammar focus  Use the simple present to talk about schedules, timetables and events in the future.  The tour starts at 7:30 tomorrow.  The movie isn’t over until 8:00.  Does the boat leave at 6:00?

 Use the present continuous to talk about personal plans in the future.  I’m seeing the doctor at 4:00  We’re not going to the movies tonight, but we’re going tomorrow.  Are you leaving in the morning or the afternoon?
