 We are about to do a personality survey called True Colors.  True Colors is a fun way to see the personality differences of others and how yours may differ.

 As a Pack Hour – you will take the True Colors Personality survey  Discover the qualities and characteristics of their own particular personality style  Gain an understanding of other personality styles.  Each person is a unique blend of the four colors or styles—a spectrum.  There are no bad or good colors.  There are wide individual variations within each color spectrum

 At your tables – each person will take a True Colors inventory.  You will label each horizontal line with the following:  4 – most like you, 3 - second most like you, 2 – third most like you & 1 – least like you  Place  Vertically total each column

 Each column corresponds to a color  - Orange Gold Blue Green  What do these mean?  Each color corresponds how we communicate & how other may perceive your style of communication.

 These questions are all part of determining who we are as a school community.  Each person has their strengths, weaknesses, likes and pet peeves.  Blues – emotional, takes everything to heart  Gold – Organized, likes things to be a certain way & loyal  Green – Curious, tinkers & determined  Orange – Active, daring & spontaneous

 Ask the questions:  Is there a score that is clearly higher than the rest?  Do you have 2 colors that are close in total scores?  Do any of these describe my personality?

 Spend 3-4 minutes brainstorming words, phrases that help you describe your personality, how you handle relationships & what you value?  As a group (color), review the responses of each group. Discuss which color you best work with and explain why?  As a group, Discuss which color you least like to work with and briefly explain why?
