Degrees and Courses Health Sciences, Public Safety and Technology. Paramedic, Medical Technology, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Medical Interpretation (Spanish/English), Trauma Nurse. Graduates receive a certificate of completion and earn nine (9) hours of credit. Paramedic graduates receive a certificate of completion and earn thirty-three (33) hours of credit. All graduates are eligible to challenge state and National Registry examinations.
Additional EMT Hours Required are a minimum of (24) hours in the hospital Emergency Department and (48) hours onboard an ALS ambulance. Classes meet for two (2) 4-hour sessions each week with occasional, pre-scheduled Saturday sessions. Para 220-Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
