Station 3- Body Cavities BA

Station 4- Anatomical planes and direction 1. The stomach is ______to the diaphragm. 2.The trachea is _______ to the spinal cord. 3. The larynx is _______ to the esophagus. 4.. The heart is_______ to the lungs. 5. The kidneys are _______ to the adrenal glands. 6. The hand is _______to the elbow. 7. The knee is ______ to the ankle. 8. Blood vessels are ________ to the skin. B A

Station 5- Anatomical Terminology Rewrite each statement using medical terminology. The first one has been completed for you. Eg. Pain is located in the right palm and extends into the pinky and index finger. – ANSWER: Pain is located in the right palmar and extends into the medial digital region. 1.The patient fell and attempted to stop the fall with the right hand. Patient is complaining of pain in the lower back that shoots down both sides of the backside and continues down the back of both legs to the knee when bending over. 4. Patient dislocated the right thumb and has pain radiating through the forearm to the elbow. 5. Patient is experiencing burning pain under the ribs and center of the chest that radiates into the upper back under both of the shoulder blades upon breathing.

Station 6-Organ Systems A B C Identify the name of each system, two organs found in the system and the function.

Station 1- Serous Membrane
