O Excel worksheet allows data to be easily summarized and charted.
O In comparison with the car, before you can fully operate Excel you have to know the parts in Excel.
Excel O A spreadsheet software that allows users to organize data in rows and columns and perform calculations.
Spreadsheet O A grid of rows and columns that holds numbers, words and formulas.
Rows O Identified by numbers on the left side of the worksheet.
Columns O Identified by letters at the top of the worksheet.
Cell O The box in a table or worksheet where a column and row meet.
Name Box O Shows the active cell in a worksheet.
Active Cell O The cell that contains the highlight or dark border around it.
Workbook O Referred to as a collection of related worksheets.
Creating a Worksheet and Embedded Chart The first step in creating an effective worksheet is to Understand What is Required.
Required Needs Document O includes a needs statement, a source of data, a summary of calculations, and any other special requirements for the worksheet.
Formatting the Worksheet O You format the worksheet to emphasize certain entries and make the worksheet easier to read and understand.

Cell Style O The capability of changing several characteristics in of a cell at one time.
Bold O To emphasize it or make it stand out from the rest of the worksheet.
