Security  Bear ID  Passwords  Only the help desk can assist you with password issues  You are required to change your password every 6 months  Changing password affects wireless access

Wireless Access 1)Select “Airbear WPA2” from available wireless networks 2)Your computer should prompt you for a user name and password. Enter your Baylor user name and password. 1) EX: Bobby_Baylor and 1234Pass! 2) If it asks for a domain enter BAYLOR 3)If your computer wants to add a certificate, then accept it and ok anything it wants to do 4)You may need to re-enter the same information multiple times. That is ok and not necessarily a problem.

Other Technologies  Web Browsers – Have MULTIPLE browsers on your machine (Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)  If one doesn’t work, then try another  Canvas – LMS   Blackboard - LMS o o Videos are primarily kept here

Other Technologies  Tegrity – Classroom Capture System o View through your Blackboard account o Download for better viewing  Box – Network File Storage:  ExamSoft – online exam  Use Mozilla/Firefox  Go to  Load software well before the first exam

Tech Tips  Download any needed items BEFORE coming to class.  Watch for times when printing bottlenecks and plan accordingly.  Check your Baylor frequently!  If using a LHSON machine be aware of what it does and does not do.  Saving files….  Be aware of what building you are in and how it is different from LHSON
