Background on PEW Research Internet Project Examine how Americans use the internet and how their activities affect their lives The project is neutral- takes no position Does not endorse technologies, industry sectors, companies, nonprofits, or individuals Based on nationwide random phone surveys, online surveys and qualitative research. Established from a research project by Times Mirror newspaper company in Located out of Washington D.C.

Children and Technology 802 people were surveyed: ages More teens are likely to use their mobile device to access the internet rather than a laptop, desktop, or tablet. Girls are found to be on the internet more than boys.

Teachers “A survey of 2,462 Advanced Placement (AP) and National Writing Project (NWP) teachers finds that digital technologies have helped them in teaching their middle school and high school students in many ways. But Why?? This research examines how teachers in different areas feel in regards to technology. Also, to keep in mind that all students have a different socioeconomic level.
