Be Respectful Be Responsible No Vandalism Students who vandalize books will receive vandalism tickets from the school resource officer. Report any vandalism on desk or in books immediately so you are not held responsible.

Be Respectful Be Responsible Keep your folders clean. Folders with graffiti or tagging are turned in to the school resource officer. Folders with gang related photographs in the clear sleeves will be turned in to the school resource officer. Assignments with graffiti will not be graded.

Dress Code Violations

Break up your clothing colors. No dressing in all one color No athletic jerseys No numbers on clothes and accessories No Gang insignia on clothes or jewelry,. Tattoos with gang affiliation must be covered White and Black hair ties only

FOLLOW DIRECTIONS You will given a T-shirt to help you if you have a dress code violation. Return the T-shirt to a teacher at the end of the day. Chronic dress code violations will result in a parent/guardian meeting.

No iPods in Class

No IPODS If you are seen with ear pieces, a staff person will request it from you and hold it until the end of the day.

Be There Be Ready No hanging out in the halls during class time Only young parents with children in the Horizonte Daycare are allowed to leave 5 minutes early for lunch and NO young parents are allowed to leave other classes early unless they are checked out through tracker If you are late, come in quietly and get busy

No kissing, hugging, touching etc. (except your own child) Be aware of space in a crowded room Help others find a place to sit--create space if necessary

Closed Campus Eat your breakfast, lunch, and snacks on campus. Maverick and 7-11 are not on our campus. Going there is considered sluffing. Get permission to go to your car. Parking lot is considered off campus without permission. Stairwells are only for emergency.

Horizonte Students Horizonte students who attend school regularly do well on the CASAS and the TABE. Horizonte students go to college. More than 80 Horizonte students received college scholarships last year.
