DNA Cloning technology

Therapeutic Cloning

Reproductive Cloning

 DNA cloning technology is important for learning about gene therapy, genetic engineering of organisms, and sequencing genomes.

 Gene therapy is a process that is mainly used for curing diseases

Therapeutic cloning is embryo cloning.

Advanced cloning technologies are very helpful for the researchers in genetics.

If you clone a human it helps researchers out and it might help them find a cure for many of the diseases.

 Cloning can work with animals and it’s been proved a few times.

 The first animal ever cloned was “Dolly” the sheep. She was created by reproductive cloning technology.

Dolly the first sheep cloned.

 Other animals that have been cloned include goats, cows, mice, pigs, cats, and rabbits.

All of these animals were created using nuclear transfer technology

I chose this topic because I was curious about cloning and how people use it.

Maybe if more people agreed with it then scientists would use all the different types and discover more ideas about it
