Additional Activities: Eviews & Data Analysis - Weekly classes during Semester A & B training students on the statistical analysis software, used primarily for time-series orientated econometric analysis. Please contact Student Support Manager, Stanley Babukutty for further information on the schedule of these additional activities.

Modules Graded modules are typically taught via the weekly lecture and the support class for 10 weeks. The grade for each module come from the exam, typically worth 80% of the mark and the coursework component, typically worth 20% of the mark (to be held during the module). Lectures For each lecture one hand-out and some exercises can be found and downloaded from QMplus one day prior to the scheduled lecture. Classes You are allocated to weekly support classes, for many modules this will take place directly after the lecture (2hr lecture followed by 1hr support class), where you will have the opportunity to work through exercises.

Revision (25/04/2016 – 29/04/2016) Revision lectures for all Semester A modules !Study! Exams (03/05/2015 – 06/06/2015) !Can happen in consecutive days!

Dissertation (13/06/2015 – TBC/08/2015) You have to write a dissertation that consists of a paper in economics. Dates, structure and requirements are given in Semester B. Late Summer Resits (TBC, August 2015) The exam period is done again for students failing modules. !Can happen in the same day!

Grade for the M.Sc. Economics Mark boundaries: 0-49 Fail Pass Merit Distinction The Dissertation is worth 4 modules

What to do next? Modules registration

Registration of modules 1. Go to: 2. Log in using college username and password; 3.Choose the modules (6 compulsory and the 2 option) as for slides 4 and 5; 4.Choose on the basis of your tastes only. I will let you change at the beginning of semester 2 after looking at the modules. 5.“Enter” your program. Once you have “entered” it, I will check and confirm your selection. 6. Deadline: 11 October 2015, 12midnight.
