Using Chopsticks These Chinese cooking utensils are not strictly essential since you probably have something in your kitchen that can be used for these purposes. DO NOT cross you chopsticks, in China this is a symbol of death. When laying on the table, normally on the chopstick stand, they should lay parallel to each other.
