Why do we need to come to concensus?

Consensus is built around: A Common Mission – Why our school exists? A Common Vision – What our school will look like when we live our mission. Collective Commitments (Values) – how we must behave to achieve our vision. Common Goals – how we will mark our progress

Our Focus Today is the Development of a: Common Mission Common Vision

Current LHS Mission Statement At Lincoln Senior High School, we believe that all children can learn: our expectation is that they will. A strong emphasis on instruction and a positive learning climate exists. Administration and staff are deeply committed to a challenging instructional program. Student academic achievement and high teacher expectations characterize the educational program at Lincoln Senior High School.

Current LHS Mission Statement Lincoln offers student a wide diversity of academic, social, and extra curricular opportunities. In addition to our commitment to provide each student with the best possible education, we hope to develop strong citizenship qualities, self- discipline, and respect toward others.

Current LHS Mission Statement We at Lincoln Senior High School recognize that our cultural diversity is a reflection of our American society and that we value the contribution of all individuals. The school administration and staff promote understanding, tolerance, and respect for the different cultural viewpoints through classroom instruction, interpersonal relationships, and extra-curricular activities. We believe that those from different ethnic groups and diverse cultures can strive for common gaols in acquiring knowledge and in developing the whole person.

Current LHS Mission Statement Our annual goal is: “To help and encourage all students in developing their potential in academic areas, extra-curricular activities, and personal growth.” At Lincoln Senior High School we have high expectations in a positive environment.
